Free pelvic health classes

Mater Mothers’ Hospitals, in collaboration with Mater Education, is offering a free education program to help better inform women about their pelvic health.

The classes have been designed by physiotherapists and women's health specialists to improve your pelvic health and better understand:

  • the most suitable ways for women to exercise during different stages of life,
  • the importance of maintaining a healthy weight,
  • how individual conditions affect your pelvic health, and
  • how good bladder and bowel habits can help prevent long-term problems.

Each program comprises four weekly one-hour classes (see dates below).

What to bring / wear

  • bring a water bottle
  • wear clothes that allow youto comfortably do exercise, such as leggings/shorts/tracksuit bottoms, with well-fitting exercise shoes

No need to bring a towel or mat—these will be supplied.




All classes are held on Wednesdays from 2 - 3 pm

Series one: 6 March, 13 March, 20 March, 27 March
Series two: 3 April, 10 April, 17 April, 24 April
Series three: 1 May, 8 May, 15 May, 22 May
