Mater Mothers partners with Kidsafe

Mater Mothers has partnered with Kidsafe Qld Inc. to provide a professional child car restraint fitting service on our South Brisbane campus (within Hancock Street Car Park).

It is estimated that in Brisbane alone, up to 84 per cent of child car restraints are not fitted correctly. Kidsafe provides expertise and advice and installs all brands and types of Australian Standard child car restraints.

The service is currently available between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm each Friday morning (excluding public holidays) and includes child car restraint checking, install and hire.

Bookings can be made online via the Kidsafe website, which also details applicable fees for each service.

The service will be provided on level 1, Hancock Street Car Park, adjacent to the Car Parks Customer Service Centre. Families who have made a booking via the Kidsafe website will need to take a ticket and enter Hancock Street Car Park via Raymond Terrace. Tickets can be validated for free exit on completion of the service by attendants within the Car Parks Customer Service Centre.

This partnership is another way of extending the service Mater Mothers provides to women and their families as Australia’s largest provider of maternity services.
