Mater awash with wins

International award winning and locally produced Mater baby skin care products have received not one, but two prestigious awards in as many weeks.
Mater Baby Wash won Gold at the 2015 Australian Mother & Baby Magazine Awards voted by a team of mums and panel of experts as the best on the market.
At the International Business Awards (Stevie Awards) Mater Newborn First Weeks Nappies won Gold in the Best New Product (Health & Pharmaceuticals Product) and Silver in the Consumer Product categories.
Co-created by Mater Midwives and Mums, Mater maternity and baby care products are specially designed for expectant mums, new mums and their delicate newborn baby’s skin, offering a unique high-quality range that is safe, ethical and affordable.
Mum and mum-to-be Leah Latham said the Mater Baby Wash is the only product she will use.
“When it comes to my baby’s skin, I like to know where the products are from and support local producers,” Ms Latham said.
“The wash smells great and leaves bub’s (and mum’s) skin so soft and smooth.
“I recommend it to all my friends as it’s excellent quality for money,” she said.
Mater Mothers’ Hospitals Director of Women’s Health Services, Maree Reynolds said she was excited to see the Mater maternity and baby skin care products achieve another accolade.
“We are committed to ensuring that our products are not only the best quality for mothers and babies, but also that the products are made locally using trustworthy ingredients,” she said.
“As Australia’s largest maternity service we are proud to deliver an award winning range of products that allows the exceptional Mater care to continue from the hospital into the home,” Ms Reynolds said.
Proceeds from the Australian Made Mater maternity and baby skin care range and the Mater Nappies, support Mater Little Miracles to fund important research projects to help give babies, the best possible start in life.
The Mater maternity and baby care product range is available online and at selected IGA stores in Queensland and selected pharmacy stores nationally.
