Baby Gracelynn’s arrival makes Valentine’s Day extra special

Valentine’s Day will be extra special for Kaitlynn and Andrew Foster after they welcomed their second child Gracelynn this morning at Mater Mothers’ Pivate Townsville.

The 27-year-old gave birth to their second daughter at 8.47am, weighing 3.775kg.

“This is a day I won’t forget,” Mum Kaitlynn said.

“We had a planned caesarean section so we had this date picked out – it’s not every day you get to have a Valentine’s Day baby.

“I had a breech birth with my eldest daughter Ellah, so we planned to have a caesarean section.”

Kaitlynn said Valentine’s Day was a special day and now they could celebrate more than just love.

“We get to celebrate something we created,” she said.

Kaitlynn said big sister Ellah, “absolutely adored” her newborn sister.

“She loves giving her kisses and cuddles and has already nicknamed her Gracie,” she said.

“I’m looking forward to going home and spending time together.”
