“The moment that a Mum and Dad see their baby for the very first time - there is something special about that instant that still gives me chills.” - Dr Paul Conaghan
Offering traditional one-on-one obstetric care, Dr Paul Conaghan values being available to his patients, and over the last five years, he has attended more than 95% of his patients’ deliveries. Specialising in multiple pregnancy, pregnancy after loss, Gestational Diabetes, High Risk Pregnancy and vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC), Dr Conaghan believes his job is to take the “worry” out of the process so that parents can concentrate on their journey.
He finds nothing more satisfying than delivering babies and helping to make families, and he believes every pregnancy should be filled with joy and excitement. He is quick to remind his patients to cut themselves some slack - pregnancy and parenthood are hard work. His wife is a pediatrician and even they found it hard with all three of their boys.
Outside of their busy medical careers Dr Conaghan and his wife try to spend as much time with their boys as possible, and he enjoys photography and cooking in his spare time.
