Education and support for you and your family

As part of our antenatal education program, we offer a range of informative and interactive classes to help parents prepare for pregnancy, childbirth and caring for your new baby. We also offer classes around nutrition and exercise in pregnancy to support your health and wellbeing. Our classes are presented by midwives, physiotherapists and dieticians who are skilled in childbirth education and women’s health.

In collaboration with Mater Education, we offer a first aid for babies course to equip parents with the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for their baby should they face an emergency.

As an extension of the services provided by Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane, Mater Health and Wellness offers additional private health services to help and support women to manage their health and wellbeing throughout their pregnancy. Services include physiotherapy, specialised pregnancy exercise classes, dietitian services and counselling.
